THANK YOU to everyone who helped at the water table on Saturday, I did bu*#er all except get up early... TNT and the bakkie crew, thanks for all your hard work... thanks to all you others who helped with the coke, water, cleaning etc and to the music man and to RSWP for getting the brekkie bread and the guys who did the skottel work. Thanks to Gutterguts and Helgar for all their work prior to the event. And a very special thanks to Ghandi and Flo for coming ALL THE WAY from the far north just for this run. Pity more of you from Cape Town couldn't make the effort :-) Well done to those who completed the 21.1 (I hear John Maytham didn't make it in time, tee hee) but next year, remember, it's either the 56 or the water table! Snake Charmer PS I survived my 40km trail run on Monday which actually turned out to be 42km and took ELEVEN AND A HALF HOURS! The longest marathon I've done... but it was awesome... awesome views, awesome weather and an awesome chilled out group to relax(!) in the mountains with. Hence the long travelling time, too many stops to look at the views.
